Insteo develops custom interactive content for digital signage and mobile devices. Our content is added to the screen simply by adding a URL/webpage to your schedule. Everything is Flash and/or HTML5 based, and has been tested across a variety of media players.
We have a library of existing interactive content (or what we call “Apps”) along with the ability to create custom solutions for client’s needs. When clients take advantage of our existing Social content they still have the ability to customize the look and feel over what shows up on the screen. |

Interactive Everywhere
Insteo is focused on interactivity and engagement – getting viewers to connect their smartphone with the screen. Our new HTML5 “Apps” allow viewers to quickly connect their smartphone to the exact same content showing on the digital sign. Viewers can grab flight schedules, restaurant menus, mini-product catalogs and more – with their smart phone matching exactly to what’s showing on the digital sign. Also, the ads change when a mobile device connects, for added customization.
Insteo is building games, instant rewards, trivia contests and more, all played directly in the smart-phone’s web-browser. There’s no need to for viewers to download anything from iTunes or the Android marketplace.

The Insteo API
Insteo’s Digital Signage platform is built on top of our powerful Application Programming Interface (API). This API connects to a variety of social networking sites to capture content and pull it onto our servers.
For rewards, contests, games, voting and sweepstakes, the Insteo API gets content from the smart phone and repurposes it for displaying on the screen.
For example, your screen could display a Call-to-Action encouraging participants to vote for their favorite player. They would visit a webpage on their smartphone and vote. The digital sign would display these results live as they’re submitted.
We can ask participants for an email address to participate if your client wants to capture additional marketing data, and provide traffic analysis.
